his is a rare, fabulous and substantial brooch from Christian Lacroix. It is a limited edition pin produced for Christmas 1997 and due to its design is called the Sacred Flaming Heart pin. 

It has a matt silvered heart shaped centre in an openwork goldtone frame with 'flames' in goldtone rising from the top of the heart. C clasp.

Signed plaque on reverse, plus 'Noel 1997" etched into goldtone on reverse.

Total height of pin is 3" (7.5cms) and it is 2" across at its widest point.

There is very minor loss to gold plating on parts of the frame but this is not noticeable when worn.
